About Me.

Manas is currently working at the Institute of Physics, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic as a Marie Curie fellow. He is working here on these optical experiments using femtosecond laser: THz spectroscopy, optical pump - THz probe experiment, multi-THz spectroscopy (including optical excitation), and near-field THz spectroscopy (SNOM).

In his previous scientific career (postdoc from UIC, USA, and KAUST). Manas got the opportunity to learn perovskite material synthesis and study their properties by transient absorption spectroscopy (TAS), UV-VIS-NIR-MIR pump-probe TAS, flash photolysis, time-resolved photoluminescence (TRPL) spectroscopy, up-conversion, time-correlated single-photon counting, and THz spectroscopy. The outcomes of this research were highlighted on the front cover of Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, and Advanced Functional Materials. Manas has wide-ranging experience working with various laser systems including femtosecond oscillators and regenerative amplifiers, parametric oscillators and amplifiers, fiber lasers, solid-state pico-, and nanosecond lasers, and supercontinuum sources. Manas has published 35 publications in peer-reviewed journals and a few conference proceedings with Google Scholar citations 3300.
